Privacy & cookies

This site measures very little and stores nothing in your browser. There are no accounts, no forms and no newsletter, so there is no profile to build: the only thing that records a visit is Google Analytics, without cookies and without identifiers. This page sets out exactly what is sent, who processes it and how to stop it.

In short

  • No cookies and no local storage. The site writes nothing to your device, so there is no banner and nothing to accept.
  • No ads, no profiles, nothing for sale. No account, no login and no form anywhere on the site.
  • Google receives one anonymous page view, with nothing that tells you apart from the next visitor. It is there to show what gets looked at, not who looks.

What is stored

Nothing. No cookies, no local storage, no session storage: there is no `_ga`, no `_ga_<id>` and no preference saved. That is the whole reason there is no banner on this site — with nothing to store, there is nothing to ask.

Analytics

Every page loads one Google tag: a Google Tag Manager container holding a single tag, Google Analytics 4. It tells us which projects and categories get looked at, on which pages, and roughly how many visits there are. It never receives a name, an email address or a postal address, and it is not used for advertising. Both are visible in the source of any page.

Storage is governed by Google’s Consent Mode v2 and it is permanently denied here: the tag can write no `_ga` cookie and no other identifier. What leaves the browser is a request with no cookies attached and nothing that could link one visit to another.

What that costs: with no identifier every visit looks like a different person, so user counts, retention and attribution are not reliable. Which pages and projects get looked at, and roughly how many visits there are, is a reasonable estimate — not an exact count.

Legal basis

No cookie needs consent here because there are no cookies. For the aggregate statistics we rely on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): knowing how many visits there are and which projects get looked at, without identifying anyone. If you would rather not be counted at all, the next section explains how.

Who processes it

Google Ireland Limited acts as processor for Google Analytics; Google LLC and its sub-processors may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses. Nobody else receives it: the site has no other third-party scripts, no fonts loaded from a CDN, no ad networks and no social embeds. Pages are served as static files by a hosting provider, which keeps the usual server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse purposes.

How long

Google Analytics deletes event data after the retention period configured in the property: two months by default, fourteen at most. Nothing expires in your browser, because nothing is kept there.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing at any time.

If you think we got it wrong, you can complain to a data protection authority — in Spain, the AEPD (aepd.es); anywhere else, your own.

Staying out of the counts

There is no switch to flip and no banner to reopen: the thing to block is the tag. A content blocker that cuts googletagmanager.com stops it from loading, and the site works exactly the same — every page, filter and chart is static HTML. You can also write to @Elysium_dev_xyz and we will look at it.

Changes

If what we measure changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Anything that started storing something in your browser would bring the banner back with it, because at that point there would be a decision to make.
